My books

From Darkness into Light

Freefall

It was a dark and stormy night in Helena, Montana. Dinosaurs still roamed the earth when I arrived, lo those many years ago.

I was a relatively good child. I teased my sister mercilessly, but then, as the older and wiser sibling, that was my job. I took it seriously.

I started writing when I was a teenager. Romantic fantasy and science fiction were my favorites. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when Star Wars came out. Yeehaw! Anyway, the stories I wrote back then were awful. I've long since pitched them. They were the rantings of a wild child.

For a number of years, I painted, then did mixed media, then nothing. There is nothing worse, for creative people, than doing nothing. I felt a constant ache (gas?) that went away only after I started writing again. My first book, Prophesy of the Seventh Dragon, was picked up by Extasy Books before I'd even finished it. Now, three years later, I've rewritten the darn thing. Finally got it right.

I love graphic art and do simple graphics. Nothing fancy, but it makes me happy.

I've lived all over, but Seattle is my home. I love the ocean and love to spend time on our boat. All I ever do is lounge on the bow and read, but I love it just the same. Hubby does all the fishing. He also takes care of the boat. I'm just the princess who lounges on it.

Four cats live with my husband and me. It's a constant circus, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love animals and nature. Sort of explains why my Defenders are the way they are, doesn't it?
