Regency Romances.

Technically, this is a type of historical romance. And yet, the readers of Regencies will tell you that they markedly different from other historical novels. A regency romance generally has a very strong sense of place and time. The stories set in the late Georgian period --and usually in England-- have often been called a comedy of manners. But, they are more than this. Read a few. You'll fall in love with them.
