Bridget's Bio
Don't let the 1940's-sounding name fool you. I write what other
people fantasize about!
Born into a loud family with 5 kids all fighting to be heard, I
made myself happy by diving into my own make believe world filled
with heroic men and myself as the heroine...of course!
It all started very innocently (well, in my mind it was innocent)
when I read Wifey by Judy Blume back in the seventh grade. The image
of the naked man on his motorcycle with the American Flag wrapped
around him has forever been tattooed on my brain.
After that, I went for a more "hard core" writer: Jackie Collins.
The woman is still queen in my book. She had female heroines who
were tough, smart, sexy and enjoyed sex without apologies. Those
were the characters I liked and wanted to write in my works.
An avid writer for all things fun, unusual and passionate, I
enjoy making readers laugh as much as I like seeing them fan
themselves down after reading a hot, sexy scene. I write long
contemporary romance, single-title romance, light paranormal
romance, science fiction romance, historical romance and erotica,
all with multi-racial characters or with an interracial romance
(because when you have a box of chocolates, you have to taste each
piece and enjoy the differences.)
I've had some of my short stories published in Sun magazine. And
recently I placed 3rd in Bethany's Woodshed's "Spring Special"
writing contest, a contest that involves a spanking theme.
My first novella, "Adam and E-V-E", is on sale now at http://www.phaze.com/, the home of
ultra-sensual romances and an imprint of Mundania Press.
