Hart's Treasure

When Anita Lynn was asked what animal she’d like to be, she replied, “A Unicorn, because they are magical and inspirational creatures.” Through her writing, she hopes to bring both magic and inspiration to her readers.

Like most women, she wears many hats. Besides being an author, she is a wife, mother, grandmother and Nurse Practitioner. Anita lives with her husband, Craig and two wonderful but aging dogs in the middle of Arizona, where the weather is neither too hot nor too cold. After 26 years of marriage, the spark of love is still shining bright between them. Now that her two sons are married, she has the daughters she always wanted and two adorable grandchilden.

She currently works for a residential school for teenage girls who have emotional and behavioral problems. Many of these girls have suffered abuse and neglect worse than most people can imagine. She provides motherly love as well as medical care for them.

She uses her medical background in her books. Something in Common has a surrogate twin pregnancy, Blood Fever has a mysterious virus on the Navajo Reservation, and Hart’s Treasure has a romance after mastectomy. By Fate’s Hand is an anthology written by a group of authors who use a golden needle as the thread which weaves the stories together through time. Anita's story is about a bi-racial couple in the 1950s.
